It is at this point where our students particularly benefit from our small class sizes. At The Webber Independent School, we deliver personalised learning and enhance the National Curriculum with additional subjects, extra-curricular activities, clubs, societies, enrichment trips, and workshops. Offering a diverse range of GCSE subjects, and a track record of excellent performance in the highly academic subjects of Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, English Language, and English Literature. We also offer flexibility and tailor our programme to different levels of ability and talent; for example, some students may decide to take early entry GCSE Mathematics (in Year 10) – providing the opportunity to study Further Mathematics (in Year 11) or an additional GCSE qualification in their first language.
The Webber Team will work in partnership with our students and parents to ensure a successful transition from Year 9 to Year 10, supporting the important decision-making process around GCSE subject selection. We use psychrometric Assessments and one-to-one interviews to help focus our young people’s choices around their strengths and talents.
