We were delighted to be able to invite our Webber Families to our much-anticipated Awards Ceremonies! After 2 years of having to hold them remotely it was wonderful to have everyone back together to celebrate another year full of achievements and success.
Our Reception to Year 2 Awards Ceremonies were held on Tuesday in our Dining Hall and we were delighted to be back at The Church Of Christ The Cornerstone on Wednesday for our Year 3 to Year 11 Awards Ceremonies!
It was a day full of prize giving with over 200 certificates and trophies awarded! Not only did we celebrate academic achievements across all our subjects but also personal endeavour and progress.
The Webber staff took a long time deliberating who should receive each award and the calibre of winners this year was exceptionally high!
We were lucky enough to have some outstanding performances from some of our very talented musicians throughout the day. Years 3 to 6 sang a beautiful rendition of Any Dream Will do from the musical Joseph and His Technicolour Dream Coat as well as Abba’s Thank you for the Music!
We also had a solo singing performance from Jenny (Year 5), a piano recital from Palaksh (Year 5) and Kestrel (Year 6) played a beautiful piece on the violin!
The Senior School ceremonies where full of talented musicians as well! Isaac (Year 9) performed a piece on the violin, Soumya (Year 9) showcased her singing talents, Marchell (Year9) played a song on his guitar and our Brass Band made up of Will (Year 10), Kobe (Year 7), Kingsley (Year 7) and Simon (Year 9) played two pieces Including When The Saints Go Marching In. Jack (Year 11) also preformed a beautiful piano recital entertaining our parents and guests during our pre-awards drinks and refreshments.
Our new Senior School Student Executive Team received their badges for next Year including our new Head Boy and Head Girl, Jedi and Lauren. With our outgoing Head students Elisabetta and Wyatt officiating and leading our Year in Review.
It was a fantastic few days celebrating our Students’ achievements. A special well done goes to our Year 11s who will be leaving the School this year for new pastures! We wish them all the best with their onward journey and will continue to celebrate their triumphs as they navigate the future on the road less travelled!
