Prep students are taught according to their stage of development allowing everyone the opportunity to achieve their very best.
In years 3 and 4 the International Primary Curriculum is woven through the National Curriculum for England, providing a broad and rich experience for our students, enhanced by an exciting range of outside visits and specialist teaching in Physical Education, Music, Computer Science, French and Spanish.
In years 5 and 6 there is an increased focus on academic excellence and links with the senior section are strengthened to ensure a smooth and confident transition into senior school when the time comes.
A great deal of emphasis is placed on emotional health and wellbeing and there are numerous opportunities for students to experience the art of leadership, team building and independent learning in the classroom, the sports field and through a wide range of extra activities.
The pastoral care we provide is extremely successful in helping our young people grow into courteous, sensible and confident individuals. Alongside which our excellent transition programme provides a seamless journey to the new challenges and experiences of Senior School life.
Prep students are happy to talk about their learning so please arrange to come and see us. Visitors are always welcome.
