An 11 year old drama enthusiast from The Webber Independent School has been scouted to appear in the Hollywood movie blockbuster ‘The Huntsman’ the long awaited sequel to ‘Snow White and The Huntsman’ which hit cinemas back in 2012. Tyron Muthiga will star alongside a glittering cast of famous stars including Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth and Emily Blunt to name just a few.
Ty has been cast as one of the captured village children who evil queen Ravenna (played by Charlize Theron) is training to learn essential life and survival skills so that they can become her army of bodyguards.
Ty who has had a passion for his art since a young age, attends a drama school at Pinewood Studios, and has previously also appeared in the West End musicals ‘Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ and ‘The Witch.’
Filming starts at the end of April, with the movie due for release in April 2016. Ty who is hugely excited about the start of rehearsals and filming said “I just can’t wait to enjoy the experience. Even at the auditions I was star struck!! I really want to do well so that when I get older I can appear in movies such as Fast and Furious – I definitely want to be a movie star!”
